Something is always happening in our showroom in Berlin-Mitte: furniture is rearranged, materials are combined, ideas are tried out. This time, however, it's not the inside that has changed, but the outside. Our shop window has been given a new look. Or rather: a summery work of art.
For this seasonal transformation, we collaborated with Berlin-based illustrator and artist Anna Rupprecht. She painted our window directly on site, live and in the best July weather. With clear lines, bold shapes and a playful color palette, she reframed the view inwards. The result is a picture that not only picks up on our modular design language, but also conveys one thing above all: lightness.
It was a real pleasure to witness the creation process. Watching Anna at work, how fine lines and clear colors are transformed step by step into a lively overall picture, was inspiring - for us in the team and for many curious passers-by.
Anna Rupprecht lives and works as an illustrator and artist in Berlin. Her work is characterized by bright colors, unconventional perspectives and an unmistakable sense of humour. Time and again she takes up social themes, often with a wink, always with her very own style.
What particularly appealed to us: Anna's ability to reduce complex forms to the essentials - without losing the warmth. Her illustrations often have a light, almost dancing quality.
You can find out more about Anna and her work on her website.
Come by, take a look through the window - and then come inside. Because the next chapter begins behind the picture.
