You've just rearranged your shelving unit and realize that a few more doors or a splash of color wouldn't do your shelf any harm? No problem, stocubo is here to help and advice: we've put together a series of simple tips on how to customize your cubes to suit your wishes.
The basics
Stabilize
You can stabilize our cubes with our clips - and you can clip them visibly from the front, e.g. with our aluminium clips, or invisibly at the back. As a color accent, we recommend connecting the cubes at the front with our colorful plastic clips. If you prefer to keep it simple, simply clip them together at the back with our plastic clips.
For an extra dose of stability and especially for rooms where children sometimes play more freely, we also recommend our anti-slip pads.
Clean and show your edge
Thanks to the melamine resin coating, our cubes are very hard-wearing and can be treated with glass cleaner. If the edges become discolored, simply rub them gently with sandpaper.
Refurbishing for advanced users
Fronts in pastel and white
With our doors and drawers, all your odds and ends disappear behind high-quality coated fronts and you also create beautiful pastel accents in your home.
Doors can also be reordered and easily assembled yourself thanks to these instructions.
Hangs quite well
Do you want to turn a bookshelf into a kitchen shelf and preferably also some wall units for wine glasses or spices? No problem: the solution is quite simple wall mounting. This allows you to easily attach your cubes to the wall, creating a great floating effect. Our recommendation: wall-mounted cubes should be used for lighter items or to showcase one interior piece of your choice.
Balance and movement
Do you love old apartments as much as we do, but your floorboards have unfortunately lost some of their straightness over the years? No problem, there's a remedy: with our height-adjustable base plates, you can level out any shelf without any problems, even on uneven floors. And for all those who like to keep things moving, there are our new plates on wheels (two of which are lockable) in ball-bearing industrial quality with solid rubber treads that can support up to 160 kg. These can be used to build containers on wheels and hallway benches.
Celebration inserts
The festive side of our cubes: our wine insert can be inserted into a 1:1 cube or used as a free-standing magazine holder.
Our champagne insert offers space for 5 bottles, fits into the 1:1 cube, and is also easily removable. A toast to your shelf!
The changing unit
The add-on for parents-to-be: our baby changing panel can simply be placed on top of the modules of an existing shelf. The baby changing panel is as wide and deep as two 1:1 cubes standing next to each other. The mini cube hanging on the side is included and is ideal as an organizer for diapers, oils and wipes.
Stickers with color and shape
An extra dose of individuality for children and adults: the reusable stickers from PimpadStudio with summery motifs or geometric shapes can be stuck on and re-sticked onto the cubes as you see fit. Perfectly suited to our modular approach.
