Color with feeling
The decision to use blue was no coincidence. "If you look closely, the black modules already had blue drawers," says Rodney. "It was actually the next logical step." He also simply loves blue. For him, the color stands for lightness, freshness and a certain calm. These characteristics now also characterize his living space.
"Mix it up. It gives the room character and really makes it your own."
Lightness instead of contrast
Where black creates depth, blue brings brightness. The color is particularly effective in the morning when the light enters the home: "That's when it really pops," says Rodney.
As changeable as his style
The Blue Edition did not remain in just one function for long either. Initially planned as a TV console, it later became a coffee station. Rodney tries out and adjusts until it feels right. It is precisely this flexibility that makes it so appealing to him. He deliberately added a small red picture frame to create a contrasting accent in the color scheme.
