How difficult is it to assemble the stocubo record shelves?
Assembly takes less time than the length of an LP, as all modules come pre-glued: simply align the base plate, stack the cubes, secure them with clips — and you’re done.
What are the exact dimensions of the stocubo record shelves?
Each record shelf is exactly as big as your record collection, since all shelves can be configured to your specific measurements and needs. The best options for LP shelves are 1:1 cubes and 2:3 cubes, as well as our LP boxes. The dimensions of the modules are available in our online shop or directly in the configurator.
How many records fit in one cube?
A 1:1 cube (33.2 × 33.2 cm internal dimensions) holds approximately 50–70 LPs, depending on the thickness of the records. About the same number of records fit in an open flip-through box. For singles, we recommend our 2:3 cubes in the shelf or the single box to place on top.
Can the record shelves also be hung on the wall?
Yes, that is possible. You can have wall rails and hangers delivered directly with the record shelf. This way, your LP shelf quickly becomes a wall-mounted shelf. However, since records can get quite heavy, we recommend not filling hanging cubes completely with records.
Do CDs or DVDs also fit on the LP shelves?
Our 1:1 Cubes are precisely tailored to the dimensions of LPs. However, they can easily be complemented with other modules, such as our 1:2 Cube (for CDs) and our 2:3 Cube (for DVDs). These modules are available in either half or full depth and can be easily planned in the online configurator.
Are double-width modules (71.2 cm) suitable for LP shelves?
Double-width modules are only partially suitable for LP shelves due to their long, unsupported sides. They work best in the top row of an LP shelf. If you want to place turntables or DJ equipment on top, we recommend either dividers for reinforcement or our cover plates, which are slightly deeper than the shelf modules and distribute the weight evenly.
