2. Cookies
We use cookies to customise content and advertisements, to allow us to offer functions for social media, and to analyse access to our website.
Website analysis
In order to make your visit to our website more pleasant, and to allow you to use certain functions, we use "cookies" on certain pages. These are small text files that are stored on your computer. Some of the cookies we use are deleted after the browser session, i.e. after you close your browser (these are known as session cookies).
Other cookies remain on your computer and enable us to recognise your browser on your next visit (persistent cookies). You can set your browser so that you are informed about the use of cookies and decide individually on whether to accept them or to deactivate the acceptance of cookies in certain cases or completely. If you do not accept cookies, the functionality of our website may be restricted.

We adhere to the regulations of the GDPR (https://gdpr.eu/cookies/) and only use cookies after obtaining the consent of the user, with the exception of essential cookies. These cookies are essential so that you can surf the website and utilise its functions, such as access to secure areas of the website. Cookies that allow online shops to keep your items in your shopping cart while you are shopping online are an example of essential cookies. These cookies are usually first-party session cookies.
You can either agree to or reject the use of other cookies. The full list is given below:
Preference cookies: These cookies, also known as "functionality cookies", enable a website to remember decisions you have made in the past, such as which language you prefer, which region you want weather reports for, or what your username and your password are, so that you can log in automatically.
Statistics cookies: These cookies, also known as "performance cookies", collect information about how you use a website, e.g. which pages you have visited and which links you have clicked on. None of this information can be used to identify you. It is all aggregated, and therefore anonymised. Its sole purpose is to improve website functionality. This includes cookies from third-party analytics services, as long as the cookies are intended solely for use by the owner of the website visited.
Marketing cookies: These cookies track your online activity to help advertisers deliver more relevant advertising or to limit how often you see an ad. These cookies can share this information with other organisations or advertisers. These are permanent cookies that almost always originate from third parties.3. Storage of personal data
Access data in server log files
You do not need to provide any personal data to visit our website. Only access data such as the name of the file you requested, the date and time of retrieval, the requested provider and the amount of data transferred are saved in what are known as server log files. This data cannot be traced back to you as an individual. It serves solely to optimise and improve our offer and help us to ensure that our website is operated and accessed smoothly.
Data when opening a customer account
We collect personally identifiable information when you provide it when placing an order, making contact with us (e.g. via contact form or email), or freely disclosing it when opening an account. The type of data collected is indicated in the relevant input forms. We use the data you provide for contract implementation and when processing your requests. After the contract has been fully implemented or your customer account has been deleted, your data will be blocked for further use and deleted following expiry of the retention period under tax and commercial law. This applies unless you have expressly consented to the further use of your data, or if we have reserved the right to use data beyond the scope permitted by law, about which we inform you below. Your customer account can be deleted at any time by sending a message to the contact option described under "GENERAL" at the beginning of this page.
Data transfer to fulfill the contract
In order to fulfil the contract, we may share your data with the shipping company responsible for delivery if this is required for the delivery of ordered goods. In order to handle payment, we share the payment details necessary for this with the credit institution responsible for payment (and, where required, with the payment service provider authorised by us) or the payment provider you have chosen when you placed your order. Some of the selected payment service providers also collect this data themselves, provided that you open an account with them (e.g. PayPal). In this case, you have to sign in to the payment service provider during the ordering process with your new login data. The privacy policy of the relevant payment service provider applies in this respect.4. Newsletter and Remailing
If you register for our newsletter, we will use the data required for this or separately provided by you in order to regularly send you our email newsletter. Unless you have objected, we will use your email address, as received as part of the sale of a product or service, to send advertising by email. We do this solely for those of our own goods or services that are similar to those that you have already purchased from us. You can object to this use of your email address at any time by sending a message to the contact option described under "GENERAL" at the beginning of this page. Alternatively, you can also use the link provided in the advertising email. There are no costs for this other than the transmission costs according to the basic tariffs.
Legal basis
– with registration
When you register for our newsletter, we use the data required for this or separately communicated by you to regularly send you our email newsletter based on your consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) 1a GDPR. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time. You can do this either by sending a message to the contact listed below, or via a link provided for this in the newsletter. After unsubscribing, we will delete your email address unless you have expressly consented to the further use of your data or we have reserved the right to use data beyond this scope, as permitted by law and about which we will inform you in this declaration.
– without registration
When we have received your email address in connection with the sale of goods or services and you have not objected, we reserve the right to, on the basis of §7 (3) the Act Protecting Fair Competition (UWG), regularly email you with regular offers for products similar to those that you have already purchased. This serves to protect our prevailing legitimate interest through marketing our products to existing customers. You can object to this use of your email address at any time by sending a message to the contact listed above or via a link provided in the advertising email without incurring any costs other than the transmission costs according to the basic tariffs.
– Advertising by post and remailing
Over and above this, we reserve the right to store your first and last name, your postal address, your email address and – if we have received this additional information from you as part of the contractual relationship – your title, academic degree and your professional, industry or business name in summarised lists and to use them for your own advertising purposes. For example, to send interesting offers and information about our products by email or post or to request a rating on the Trusted Shops rating portal. You can object to the storage and use of your data for these purposes at any time by sending a message to the contact listed under "GENERAL" at the beginning of this page.
5. Right to information and contact options
You have the right to be informed, free of charge, about the data we have stored about you and, if necessary, the right to correct, block or delete this data. In the event of any queries on the collection, processing or use of your personal data, for information, authorisation, and the blocking or deletion, as well as the revocation of consent granted to revocation of consent to a particular use of data of data, please contact us directly via the contacts listed under "GENERAL" at the start of this page.
