Brief overview of stocubo – quality made in Berlin

The Berlin-based company stocubo was founded by Stefan Oberhofer at the end of 2011. Build, remodel, build differently is the stocubo credo. Simple and timelessly designed, our sustainable modules can be flexibly combined and rearranged over and over again.

Julia Haneke became part of company management in 2014, became a partner in 2015, and finally the sole Managing Director in August 2016. From the beginning, the aim was to offer individual storage space solutions that embody classic design and will be favourite pieces of furniture that will be used for many years.

stocubo produces its shelf systems exclusively in Berlin and relies on sustainable energy and climate-neutral shipping. Manual manufacturing and high-tech production go hand in hand in our production process. In order to guarantee a fair price-performance ratio and to ensure short distances, stocubo decided to utilise online direct sales. Shelf modules are also presented in their own showroom in Berlin-Wedding.

stocubo attaches great importance to durability and resource efficiency. Only water-based adhesives and paints, as well as PEFC-certified MDF, are used in the manufacture of the products, which are produced with particularly low levels of harmful substances. The wood of the modular components is obtained from sustainable forests in Germany and France and processed in North Rhine-Westphalia. Individual modules and pre-configured shelves can be ordered on the website www.stocubo.de. It's easy to put your own piece of furniture together individually with the help of our 3D shelf configurator. Delivery takes place within 4-7 weeks (as of June/2023). We produce all modules by hand in a small space.
