The 2:1 module is exactly twice the width of a 1:1 cube. Or, in other words: two 1:1 are the exact same width or height as a 2:1 Modul. The material is white-coated MDF, and the back panel is coated white.
Should you choose to add drawers to the module, the drawers run on metal guide rails that allow the drawer to glide noticeably smoothly. Dampers allow the drawer to close gently ("soft-close").

The drawer has the following dimensions (cm):
Outside H 29.8 (front) | W 68.0 | D 30.5
Inside H 23.0 (back wall) | W 64.6 | D 28.0

Important to note: due to their long, self-supporting sides and the thickness of the material, 2:1 Modules can bend a little when under heavy weight. 2:1 modules should therefore only be placed in the upper area of the shelf and should not be loaded with more than 7 kg in the middle. Alternatively, we offer loose intermediate panels or the option to install fixed central panels for additional support in our shop. If heavy objects are used on double-width modules (e.g. LP/DJ equipment), we recommend our cover plate or intermediate panel.
If the module is fitted with a drawer, it automatically receives an additional strut for stabilisation, which is why these modules are so resilient that they can also be installed in the lower shelving area.

The 2:1 Modules are only suitable for wall mounting with a low load (max. 5 kg). When installed in the shelf, they should not protrude more than 7 cm above the module below in the shelf configuration.
