Our room dividers not only provide some necessary structure in your home, they also look good. But the best part about this? It can be an entire wall of storage space and ways to keep that unwelcome chaos under control. Whether it's shielding an open kitchen from the living room or transforming the kids' room into two separate dens for your little ones, the possibilities with stocubo room dividers are endless. What's particularly smart: a room divider that separates the bed from the rest of the room while leaving space for books, beauty products, and your favorite socks.
Sometimes you just want to feel the material and hold the colors against your own living room wall before you decide on a particular combination of cubes. Just order your stocubo sample kit now, consisting of a 1:1 cube, color samples of all our colors, and both an aluminum and a plastic clip.

How do I build my room divider?
That is for you to decide! Align the base plates with the spirit level and stack the cubes together as you like. Then connect the individual elements with our clamps - and you'll have your first personal design on the floor in just a few minutes. Our shelving systems are stable and can bear weight even when stacked high, especially when they are generously fixed with connecting clamps. This is especially recommended if you want to make a real partition up to the ceiling out of your shelving.
Do I need base plates for my shelf?
Your floor decides: if your new shelf stands on an uneven surface, a base plate with adjustable feet brings stability. If you are building your shelf particularly high, a base plate can provide some additional stability. However, since even relatively new floors are rarely perfectly even, we generally recommend taking base plates in order to have perfectly seated cubes even for the top row.
Are the shelves from stocubo sustainable?
We rely on high-quality material, more precisely: on break- and bend-resistant MDF from PEFC-certified European forests. We build our shelves by hand from this, in a very conscious and low-emission manufacturing process. We also put a lot of emphasis on sustainability in the continued production and delivery. We do this through low-pollutant manufacturing processes as well as by using green electricity and climate-neutral shipping companies.
How will my room divider be delivered?
In a nutshell: they're ready to go. The individual cubes are already completely assembled upon delivery - including doors, drawers and drawers. So, get creative, and stack the elements as you wish - and set up your new furniture in just a few steps.
How do I care for my shelves?
The cubes are made of melamine-coated MDF. Simply go over the panels gently with a damp cloth or a dust mop - and your room divider will be sparkling clean again. Small everyday stains on the edges can disappear with a quick treatment with sandpaper.
In which colors are cubes, doors and drawers available?
The corpus of our cubes is classic white. There is an option to have the edges in black instead of a natural tone. If you decide to go for a cube with door or slide-in, you can choose from our five pastel colors: Vanilla Yellow, Pistachio Green, Denim Blue, Cashmere Gray and Dust Gray. This allows you to match your room divider to its surroundings, depending on the space and your vision.
Which book fits in which cube?
Books are often the only object to live on your room dividers. Therefore, as a guide, you can remember: our 1:1 cubes hold larger, bound books, such as atlases, illustrated books, magazines and journals. They also hold file folders and records. Do you have particularly large books in your collection that need to be stowed away? Then our 2:1 modules are perfect for this, offering a spacious home. Journals, comics and magazines can be stored in our F2- and F3-shelf cubes to save space.
How many CDs and LPs fit in one cube?
It all depends on what kind of CDs and LPs you have. As an guide you can refer to this: our 1:2 cubes (35.6 x 17.8 x 17.8 cm) with half depth fit about 31 CDs (with the usual plastic covers). In the same cubes with full depth (dimensions: 35.6 x 17.8 x 35.6 cm), then twice as many in two rows. Even with records, the type of cover determines the amount that can be held by the shelf.
