How do I assemble my living room shelf from stocubo?
Very simple : level the base plates with a spirit level, stack the pre-assembled modules on top and connect them with the supplied connecting clips — without any tools and in no time at all.
Do I have to attach my living room shelf to the wall?
In principle, the shelves are very stable and sturdy on the base plates. If the floor is very uneven or children are particularly keen on climbing, you can attach an L-bracket to the wall above the shelf to prevent it from tipping over.
What fits in which Cube?
1:1 module: Illustrated books, magazines, folders, LPs
2:3 module: Paperbacks, DVDs, Blue Rays
1:2 module: CDs, Reclam booklets
Can I place a television on the cubes?
You can also place a TV on shelves at full depth without any problems. Double-width modules should not be placed under the TV, as they can bend if they carry too much weight. Alternatively, you can use our cover plates.
Can I order modules at a later date?
Yes - you can add additional modules, doors, drawers or castors to your living room shelving unit at any time. This means your shelving unit can be adapted to your current needs at any time - and can be converted into a completely new piece of furniture in no time at all.
Are the shelves from stocubo sustainable?
Yes, in a double sense: all modules are manufactured locally by us from PEFC-certified MDF. In addition, thanks to the innovative clip system, the modules can be assembled and extended again and again and thus remain flexible for a lifetime.
